43. In a Sunburned Country by Bill Bryson
I have been really busy, so it took me forever to finish this, but it was a really good book. I really like Bill Bryson's writing, I feel like I learn a lot about whatever he's writing about. It really got me interested in Australia. He's written another book on Australia called "Down Under" that I'm going to have to read. His information on the Aborigines made me want to find out more about them. I'm going to look for some other books on the subject.
A few years ago I made a goal to read 100 books per year. For the first year I made it halfway to my goal.

42. I'm A Stranger Here Myself: Notes On Returning To America After 20 Years Away by Bill Bryson
This book is a series of newspaper articles written by the author. The reviews of a couple of his books compare him to Dave Barry, and these articles reminded me a lot of the Dave Barry articles I used to love to read in the paper. It's really funny, and the comparisons between Britain and America were interesting too.
