50. Screen Plays: How 25 scripts made it to a theater near you - for better or worse by David S. Cohen
I really loved this book. When I read the Deep Space Nine Companion a few years ago I really was interested in reading about how each screenplay came about, and the funny thing is the author of this book actually co-wrote a screenplay for Deep Space Nine. I found a couple of movies that I want to watch and three books to read out of this. I am pretty behind on my goal though, since I just got to fifty books and it's almost September, but at least I hit the halfway mark. Maybe I can still get three-fourths of the way before the end of the year.

Hi Kimarie! Thanks for the kind words about my book. Glad you liked it. You probably know way more now than you ever wanted to know about the writing of "Deep Space Nine."

I didn't have this set up to email me when I get comments. I didn't actually expect anyone to read any of it. Anyway, I really like Star Trek and have really enjoyed reading about the script-writing process, so I could probably read several more volumes. I hope you write some more books about scripts that are made into movies, there are a lot of movies that I'd like to know the real story behind. I've never read a screenplay, but for someone who likes books more than movies it seems like it would be more interesting in some cases.
